Agastache kudos series#
A wonderful series of Agastache available, especially for Missouri’s hot summer conditions. They are very hardy and are almost fully resistant to downy mildew. This selection of Agastache aurantiaca parentage has the smaller blue-green leaves that have a slight silver look. ‘Kudos’ is a dwarf series of Agastache with several different colors of flowers. 'Kudos Red' fixes that problem and is an exciting win for the hummingbirds. Like the others in the KUDOS Series, this plant is hardy to Zone 5 and is naturally resistant to downy mildew. As with so many mint family members, Agastaches are pleasantly aromatic and long blooming. Large, dense inflorescences of yellow flowers adorn this wonderfully compact Agastache.
