TLDR: if you’re looking to change the colour of your hair, don’t get this. It’s nothing magical, it’s subtle and not obscenely conditioning (I still condition after but you could get away without it) but it’s a very affordable way to tone your hair between appointments. It works better on my permanent dyed hair to add some vibrant copper between hair appts. I used this mask before the permanent to add some copper tone to my strawberry blonde and it worked well but the pigment picked up more in the spots with lots of lightening. I previously lightened my hair and then recently died it a permanent copper, level 8ish.
